Xiaomi Indonesia Goes to Campus

On July 27, 2022 Gentala Institute held Stadium Generale with Xiaomi Indonesia, Co-organized with Tanjungpura University, Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. This event is held to increase branding awareness of Xiaomi Indonesia not only on the most populated island of Java but also Kalimantan. The event was attended by the University President himself and the Head of Centralized Management Xiaomi Indonesia. The event was attended by more than 160 students from Tanjungpura University and students from Pontianak City-wide.

Pontianak is a significant city populated by approximately 646.661 people. The West Kalimantan province is also populated by 5 million people. It is a great market opportunity beside Java island.  West Kalimantan will also be the new economic spearhead not only for Kalimantan, but for Indonesia. The planning on moving the Capital from Jakarta to Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan Province is still in progress.

This kind of event surely will increase brand awareness in the regions that are seldomly chosen by multinational companies to be visited. The event is also promoting the positive impacts on the Internet of Things, which in this case Xiaomi and Xiaomi Indonesia are delivering their ecosystem products to the global market including Indonesia.
